Phase 2 
Skate Park Zone

Its always been the ambition of the wheel park group to build phase 2 - the skate park zone so that the park can truly be for all wheeled sports. 

This is the approximate position of the proposed skate area at the wheel park

Bendcrete have made up this design for the skatepark to use the same entrance as currently used for the pump track

We have been out to tender and the fantastic park designers, Bendcrete, were the successful company. They have designed a park with lots of features and a definite flow to the park. While some parks allow for only one skater at a time , our park has sub-zones to allow others to use it at same time.  

The skatepark will be positioned just west of the where the chute is and tucked in beside the beginners pump track

The sizes are currently with the planning authorities to ensure there is no departure form the original planning approvals. We are also in full 'grant application' mode to raise the money needed
